Pierce County Alliance is extremely proud to partner with the Mockingbird Society (MBS) as a host agency for The Mockingbird Network. The Network is a statewide group of local chapters led by youth and alumni of foster care with the goal of strengthening communities, encouraging civic engagement, addressing local and statewide issues affecting children and youth in foster care and developing youth leaders. To learn more or to get involved in your community, click on the “meet our staff” link above and contact your Region 5 MBS Resource Specialist.

Please visit the Mockingbird website by clicking on the “community links” link above.

Welcome to the Pierce County Alliance Youth Services website! Our mission is to “Advance the well being of all children in foster care.” We cannot do this without your help. It truly takes strong partnerships and collaborative relationships to help children who live in the foster care system grow up to be healthy and strong individuals. Please browse our website to learn more about what we do and about our programs.

If you would like to learn more about becoming a foster parent, just simply click on the yellow bar below and fill out our simple questionnaire. You can also click on the “meet our staff” link above and contact our foster home licensor directly.

We are seeking foster homes that can provide a safe, loving, and positive environment for foster youth and who enjoy working in a team setting. We are also recruiting homes who have an interest in working with parenting and/or pregnant teens. Contact us today and we will be glad to assist you with your questions or help guide you through this process. Thank you for your interest in Pierce County Alliance Youth Services and your interest in making the foster care system a better place for children to live.
